This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the launch team for our new Fredericksburg, VA site! You will be based primarily in Fredericksburg as we scale operations. During the initial phase, which could last several months, travel to Stafford, Louisa, and Manassas may be required to support operational needs and training while the Fredericksburg sites ramp up to full capacity.

As a Data Center Technician, you will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations. Your responsibilities involve in‑depth hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair, as well as participation in an on‑call rotation.

This position requires that the selected candidate be a US citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. The candidate must, after start, obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and satisfy other security‑related requirements, and opt into the required clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
• Work in an environment that operates 24/7, including on‑call rotation and providing after‑hours support as needed.
• Support regional travel as necessary.

• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience
• 1+ years of computer networking experience
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
• High school or equivalent diploma
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above

• Ability to work in cramped spaces or at elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines
• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies
• Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment)

The base salary range for this position is $30.00 – $54.00 USD hourly. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
