Data Center Manager, DCC Communities; AWS

• Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators.
• Routinely review ticket queue for large events and address accordingly.
• Coordinate change management resources.
• Guide, train and educate data staff on best practices related to all service owner issues.
• Manage and deliver mid-size projects.
• Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and required SLAs.
• Manage a diverse team of data technicians with varying skills.
• Provide weekly report to the data center manager.
• Maintain the on‑call schedule coordinating absence and vacations.
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Host weekly staff meetings.
• Write and deliver performance reviews for staff.

• 2+ years of people management experience.
• 3+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• 2+ years of operations and on‑call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or higher.

• Experience in project or program management.
• 1+ years of data center experience.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role.
• In‑depth hardware knowledge and troubleshooting experience, system management tools and client/server environments.

Location:

USA, VA, Fredericksburg.

Compensation: $78,400 – $137,300 USD annually.
