IT Project Manager, Program / Project Manager
Team Carney, a dynamic learning development and delivery focused government contractor, is seeking a Senior Manager for a government contract related to Homeland Security. Our Senior Managers are experienced in overseeing government contracts pertaining to the creation and revision of learning and training curriculum, leading a team and providing excellent communication and service to the government client.
THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD.
THIS POSITION IS FULL TIME AND REMOTE (With occasional trips as necessary).
Duties:- Oversee curriculum and instructional development of new courses or revision of existing courses, course content alpha review and beta delivery (if applicable),
- Oversee 508 and FEMA template compliance
- Assist in developing curriculum support products (training needs assessment SharePoint-based course tracking and planning, course material templates, job aids, rubrics, etc.).
- Lead planning, execution, and closure of large-scale or high-impact projects.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes; implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and supervise project team members and external partners.
- Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders; provide regular status updates.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, departmental, and organizational policies.
- Monitor project performance; report on progress, deliverables, and outcomes.
- Facilitate meetings, resolve conflicts, and promote collaboration.
- Prepare and deliver project documentation and presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree (related field) with 7 years of experience in program management with at least 4 years of experience managing and coordinating ISD efforts on multiple training programs/projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Current Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain this clearance.
- Master's degree in business, management or related field
- PMP certification
Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time status. Part-time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours.
The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represent the broadest range for this position (including high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of Team Carney's total compensation package for employees. Team Carney is committed to delivering exceptional results and fostering an inclusive environment where every member can thrive. General Salary range for ALL full time positions: $50,125 - $185,650 annually.
