Band Saw Operator - Plastics Division - Jamison

Key Responsibilities:

• Determines setup procedures according to specifications.
• Maintain an inventory of materials.
• Measure and cut pipe to length and check for conformance to specifications; adjust process as necessary to alter products.
• When products vary from specifications inform supervisor for appropriate action.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and make minor adjustments to equipment.
• Move or lift heavy objects.
• Maintain 5S in work area and department.
• The responsibilities outlined are not exhaustive; associates may be reassigned to additional duties at the discretion of leadership.

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing, warehousing or industrial experience preferred.
• Demonstrated stable work history preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail oriented and committed to quality and safety.

This position may require frequent bending, lifting, and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees should be able to perform this duty with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Must be able to work the required scheduled hours from 6:00 AM-4:30 PM M-F.
• Must be available for overtime as production needs require with occasional Saturday's.

$18.50 per hour
