This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Technician based in Fredericksburg, VA. The Production Technician will be responsible for assembling, integrating, maintaining and troubleshooting tactical equipment. Additional responsibilities include performing quality checks, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and conducting preventive maintenance to maintain optimal shop equipment performance. Collaboration with team members and effective communication is also essential to ensure smooth production processes.
Some travel (domestic and international) is required.
- Proficiency in Quality Control and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance of shop equipment
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or vocational training is a plus
- Previous electrical and/or mechanical experience is preferred
