Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse – Fredericksburg, VA
Location: Fredericksburg, VA Start Date: 03/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 4×10 (07:00–17:30; alternating Mon–Fri) Specialty: Cath Lab RN
Requirements- Active VA or Compact RN license
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year cardiac or critical care experience
- Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and/or IR preferred
- First‑time travelers accepted
- Shift: 07:00–17:30, 4×10
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- On‑call required:
- Monday–Friday: 17:30–07:00
- Saturday: 07:00–07:00 (24 hours)
- Sunday: 07:00–07:00 (24 hours)
- Yes, within scope
- May float to:
- Medical units
- ED (medical holds only)
- High‑volume, high‑acuity Cath Lab
- 12–18 cases per day
- 3 labs, newly renovated
- Team performs 4–7 cases per lab per day
- STEMI call team
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor roles required
- TAVR
- Watchman
- Carotids
- Impella
- CTO
- Peripherals
- TEVAR/EVAR
- STEMI interventions
- Philips rooms (upgraded within the last year)
- Medrad and manifold for injections
- XPER documentation
- Epic documentation
