Medication Technician – Evening & Overnight Shifts
Join our dynamic team at Bickford Senior Living as a Medication Technician! You will support resident care within the branch, ensuring that residents' daily medication needs are met in a compassionate way that maintains their dignity.

- Benefits start on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment

- Pay available daily
- Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure that medications are given per physician’s orders.
- Understand and follow the “Six rights of medication administration” and all Bickford policies and procedures regarding medication management.
- Understand and appropriately utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
- Communicate appropriately with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
- Provide direct resident care and supervise resident care work of non‑licensed team members and other areas of the branch as appropriate.
- Lead by demonstrating the Bickford Mission “Whatever it Takes” to all other team members on shift.
- An active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least one year of experience in the care of seniors.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
- CPR and First Aid certifications required.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to utilize or learn Bickford’s eMAR system to administer medications.
