School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN Fredericksburg, Virginia

Qualifications:

• Current, active LPN license in Virginia
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
• Ability and willingness to assist with a variety of student needs, including seizure management, diabetes care, G-tube and trach care, toileting, and diapering
• Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing assignments or schedules
• Comfortable riding the bus with students as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer routine and emergency nursing care to students as needed throughout the school day
• Support students requiring specialized care, such as those with diabetes or seizure disorders
• Perform G-tube, trach, and other complex medical interventions as trained and required
• Participate in daily routines including hygiene support (toileting, diapering)
• Accompany students on the bus to ensure safe transportation, stepping in to provide medical care if necessary
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of care and communication with staff and families
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other school professionals to provide holistic support
