Branch Coordinator - Floorcovering Installations

This position supports sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floor covering store and coordinates all aspects of floor covering installation through independent contractors to service wholesale floor covering customers. In this role, you will assist in identifying floor covering installers, schedule installation, and ensure installation is conducted consistent with expectations.
The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #3580, located at: 1 Harkness Blvd Ste 400, Fredericksburg, VA,
Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. • Support the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floor covering store, servicing wholesale customers.
• Assist the Branch Manager in identifying floor covering installers
• Establish installation schedule and communicate assignments
• Perform on-site inspections of installations to ensure customer satisfaction
• Review new and existing floor covering installer accounts including contacting outside sources for information
• Ensure all installer transactions are handled properly through store computer operating system and records are properly maintained
• Determine floor covering installation training needs and require training as appropriate

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have at least a High School diploma or GED
• Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
• Have previous work experience selling floor covering and/or floor covering products
• Have prior work experience operating floor covering cutting equipment
• Have previous work experience installing floor covering
• Have the Carpet and Vinyl Installation Certification by the Carpet and Rug Institute
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
