Vegetable and Furit Clerk or Produce Associate

About the Role:

Finest Supermarket is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Produce Clerk/Associate to join our team in Fredericksburg, VA! This is a great opportunity to be part of a hands-on, fast-paced environment where you'll play a key role in delivering fresh, high-quality produce to our customers every day.

• Stock, rotate, and maintain fresh produce displays to ensure product quality and freshness
• Inspect incoming produce shipments for quality and report any discrepancies
• Keep the produce department clean, organized, and visually appealing
• Assist customers with product selection, questions, and special requests
• Monitor and maintain proper pricing and signage throughout the department
• Remove damaged or expired product and follow proper disposal procedures
• Collaborate with team members to meet department goals and customer satisfaction standards

• Previous experience in grocery, retail, or produce handling is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on product quality and freshness
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude with good communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
