Hospice Sales Representative

Location: Fredericksburg, VA |
Schedule: Full-time, field-based |
Compensation: Highly competitive base compensation plus uncapped commission opportunity

A respected hospice provider is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Hospice Sales Representative to support growth across the Spotsylvania, Stafford, King George, Westmoreland, and Orange Counties territory. This organization offers a mission-driven culture centered on teamwork, compassion, and quality patient care, and is looking for someone who believes in hospice and enjoys building trust with referral partners across the healthcare community.

• Develop and maintain referral relationships across the assigned territory
• Work closely with physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, skilled nursing facilities, social workers, community partners, patients, and families
• Increase awareness of hospice services and support appropriate referrals
• Conduct professional outreach and represent hospice services with warmth, confidence, and credibility
• Work independently in the field while staying connected to the broader team

• Minimum two years of sales, marketing, business development, liaison, or referral development experience in healthcare
• Healthcare service sales experience
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, facility leadership, community partners, and referral sources
• Strong communication, follow-through, and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance

• Hospice, palliative care, home health, senior living, hospital, post-acute, or related healthcare experience
• Outside referral development experience
• Bachelor's degree; additional relevant experience may be considered in place of degree
• Prior clinical experience is a plus, but not required
