As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security‑related incidents. You will respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors while delivering a customer‑focused experience.

• Provide customer service in a healthcare location by following Allied Universal security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff, facilities, and/or local responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corridors, lobbies, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, assisting with directions, badge checks, and/or entry screening requirements per site policy while maintaining professionalism with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Complete timely reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site leadership, and assist with lost‑and‑found and/or other site service needs as assigned.

• Preferred to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Preferred to be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Preferred to have customer service experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
