Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
Job Schedule- Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and adherence to site rules and reporting protocols.
- Support day-to-day operations by preparing reports, maintaining logs, and reporting maintenance, life protection, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols and inspections.
- A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
