As a Security Officer Patrol Watch in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This people‑first role supports patients, visitors, and staff while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Position Type:
Full Time | Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Day Time Wed 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM, Thu 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM, Fri 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM, Sun 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly, contact appropriate personnel, and document security‑related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor direction, and help support orderly movement throughout the location while following post orders and client guidelines.
• Communicate with supervisors, medical staff, and local responders as needed regarding security‑related matters, hazards, and incident updates.

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs (preferred).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
