Job Title: Security Officer Unarmed Area Patrol

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Wed 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Thu 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Fri 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and directing patients and guests to appropriate areas when needed.
• Assist with de-escalation, policy enforcement, and security-related support during high-traffic periods, after-hours activity, and/or emergency situations common to a healthcare environment.

• Preferred to be able to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Preferred to be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
