• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing/enforcing violators of policy and procedures; looking out for trespassers.
• Provides crowd control for emergencies such as medical, fire, or disaster situations.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses.
• Inspects and patrols premises regularly; monitors the property’s entrance/exit points.
• Authorizes entrance of people and vehicles; secures all exits, doors, and windows.
• Responds to alarms/emergencies/suspicious activities in a timely manner.
• Provides aid to people in need.
• Maintains mental alertness and attention to detail at all times.

• Extensive knowledge of security protocols.
• Ability to work independently or on a team.
• Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations.
• Professional, neat appearance with excellent customer service capability.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing conditions.
• Strong written communication skills for logs and reports.
• Good interpersonal skills across diverse cultures and social levels.

• Must be able to obtain an Unarmed Professional Security License.
• Must be able to obtain an ASHI Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Must pass a drug screening, driving record check, and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be over 18 years old.
• Must effectively read, write, and speak fluent English.
