As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Facility Checks in Fredericksburg, VA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other members of the healthcare community while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and monitoring of restricted areas while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare setting.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
