Assist in cutting, grinding, deburring and cleaning metal surfaces to prepare them for welding;
Load, unload and transport materials to and from welding stations using appropriate equipment;
Measure, mark and position materials and components for welders;
Hold or secure parts in place during welding or tacking operations;
Under supervision may perform basic tack welding or simple fabrication tasks
