Position Summary

The HVAC Commercial Installer is responsible for installing commercial and industrial heating and cooling systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities

* Install commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including rooftops, furnaces, central air systems, and refrigeration equipment

* Work with hydronic, steam, forced hot air, and heat pump systems

* Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation specifications

* Perform refrigerant piping installation in accordance with best practices

* Braze and solder piping as required

* Assist with basic system controls and wiring connections

* Maintain high standards of installation quality and safety

* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

* Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Minimum of 1 year of HVAC installation or service experience, or equivalent technical training

* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and wiring

* Strong communication and organizational skills

* Basic computer skills

* Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug and background checks

* Pay range: $20 - $50 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Work Environment

This is a field-based role that may include:

* Working outdoors in varying weather conditions

* Driving to and between job sites

* Frequent standing, climbing, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)

* Working with construction materials, equipment, and tools
