Diesel Mechanic
The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for the safe operation, repair, rebuilding, and maintenance of company-owned or leased heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment, including rolling stock. The primary goal is to ensure all equipment is in top condition and operates safely at all times.
Second Shift RoleThis is a second shift role from 11:30a-9:30p Monday-Friday. We offer extremely competitive wages based on experience. OT is paid for at 1.5x regular rate with average of 7 hours/week.
Pay Range:
- C-Level Tech: $26.00 – $32.00 / hour
- B-Level Tech: $30.00 – $36.00 / hour

Schedule:
Enjoy a predictable 2nd shift schedule with 12-9:30p times. - Reliable Overtime:

- Maintenance & Diagnostics:
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on our in-house fleet of heavy-duty diesel, CNG, gas, and electrical vehicles/equipment. - Work Order Management:
Plan repairs, order necessary parts through the M5 planner system, and accurately complete daily work orders. - Safety & Quality:
Keep our fleet running at peak safety standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment. - Continuous Improvement:
Participate in ongoing technical training, learn new software systems, and stay up-to-date with modern diesel technology.
Requirements:
- Education:
High school diploma or GED (Technical diploma preferred). - Experience:
Minimum 1+ year of hands-on diesel mechanic experience. - Skill Level: Looking for motivated C-Level or B-Level technicians.
- Tools:
Must possess, maintain, and provide your own standard tools for heavy/hydraulic equipment maintenance. - Technical Aptitude:
Experience with diagnostic software is a plus; must be comfortable using computers and willing to train on shop management software. - Physical Effort:
Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs as required in a heavy equipment environment.
