Residential Heating&Cooling Service Technician

Total Comfort is seeking a Residential Heating & Cooling Service Technician to install, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems in single-family homes and small residential properties. In this hands-on role, you'll perform maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and recommend energy-efficient solutions while following strict safety standards and local codes. You'll communicate clearly with homeowners, explain repair options, and ensure clean, high-quality work. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems
• Diagnose issues and perform troubleshooting on heating and cooling equipment
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and system tune-ups
• Ensure work complies with safety standards, building codes, and manufacturer specs
• Communicate findings, repair options, and costs to homeowners
• Recommend energy-efficient upgrades and system improvements
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
• Maintain tools, parts, and company vehicle in clean, safe condition
• Coordinate with dispatch and team members to meet schedule commitments
• Provide courteous, customer-focused service in occupied homes
