Electrician

Job Description

We are looking for Electricians to work in and around the D.C. MARYLAND OR VIRGINIA . We offer great pay, benefits, long-term steady work and a number of Bonus opportunities!

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Accurately install conduit – This is the primary skillset for this job!
• Read and follow blueprints during construction process.
• Measure, bend, cut, thread, ream, assemble, and install rigid and EMT conduit.
• Must have experience with hydraulic benders, (i.e., able to run bigger sizes of conduit)
• Must have experience with the installation and termination of panels, switch gear, transfer switches, transformers, etc.
• Must be able to correctly setup and pull wire based on blueprints.
• Must be able to install all devices, light fixtures.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and fix problems as they arise.
• Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code during installation process.
• Fire alarm, exit sign experience

Experience:

• At least 3+ years of related commercial experience.
• Understand blueprints or technical diagrams to determine location of circuits, outlets and other equipment.
• Proficient in layout and installation.

Requirements:

• Have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Have tools of the trades.
