The Domestic Violence Victim Advocate, under the supervision of the Victim Witness Services Director, provides advocacy and crisis intervention for victims of domestic violence and other crime.

Key responsibilities include:

• Victim Advocacy and Support This category involves advocating for victims of domestic violence and general crime, including accompanying them to court and offering necessary support.
• Collaboration and Coordination Focuses on working alongside law enforcement, court staff, and human service organizations to provide comprehensive support.
• Crisis Intervention and Service Planning Entails conducting crisis intervention, evaluating victims’ needs, and creating tailored service plans.
• Community Engagement and Reporting Covers educating victims about their rights and the justice process, maintaining program data, and participating in community outreach and training initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
