You might help someone explore the community, practice shopping, volunteer, develop social skills, or become more confident and independent.

What You’ll DoSupport individuals in achieving their personal goals.

Plan meaningful activities based on each person’s interests.

Teach independent living, communication, safety, and social skills.

Encourage personal choice, dignity, and community involvement.

Provide transportation and hands-on assistance when required.

Complete accurate and timely documentation.

Protect individuals’ rights and immediately report safety concerns.

What You’ll Need High school diploma or GED.Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.

Dependable attendance and strong communication skills.

Ability to complete electronic documentation.

Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.

IDD or human-services experience is preferred but not required.

Employment is contingent upon completing job-related screenings required by Virginia law and company policy. Starting pay within the posted range is based on qualifications, relevant experience, and internal equity—not prior salary history.
