As a Fitness Trainer, you will operate the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF). Responsibilities include creating class schedules, engaging members on the club floor, promoting the Judgement Free Zone®, performing walk-throughs of fitness areas, conducting prospective member calls and tours, greeting members, answering phones, maintaining a clean facility, and other daily duties.

• Creating a class schedule for members including Orientation and DYOP (Develop your own program).
• Proactively engaging with members on the club floor regarding their fitness goals; instructing on safe equipment usage and providing support.
• Promoting our Judgement Free Zone® by connecting with members, offering assistance, and upholding club policies.
• Performing comprehensive walk-throughs of fitness areas and addressing issues quickly.
• Performing prospective member calls and tours; assessing membership needs and offering Trainer services.
• Greeting members/guests, answering phones, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and spa amenities, keeping restrooms clean, and following cleaning schedules.

• 6-12 months of customer service experience (preferred).
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (training provided).
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

• Continual standing and moving throughout the club.
• Continual communication in person or on the phone.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
• Frequent bending and twisting to accomplish tasks.

$13.50 per hour
