Pay Overview:
- Driver positions pay weekly
- Solo miles: $0.63 per mile with 1700–1800 miles per week
- Solo stops: $35.00 per stop with 5–10 stops per week
- Safety bonus: $500 paid four times a year, every quarter
- Paid training
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday, early AM start time - Pay range: $1246 – $1484 per week

Load securement only – lumber - Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful
- Uniforms, cell phone, and boot allowance provided
- Paid personal time off starts at Day 1 – 80 hours accrued in first year
- Paid personal time policy: you may use vacation time earned, or we pay the remaining balance at your hourly rate

- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide a Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
- Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
- 9 months within the past 3 years, or
- 2 years within the last 5 years, or
- 5 years within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle records check, a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Load/unload freight, or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Perform other duties as assigned
