Pay Overview:

• Driver positions pay weekly
• Solo miles: $0.63 per mile with 1700–1800 miles per week
• Solo stops: $35.00 per stop with 5–10 stops per week
• Safety bonus: $500 paid four times a year, every quarter
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, early AM start time
• Pay range: $1246 – $1484 per week

  Load securement only – lumber
• Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful

• Uniforms, cell phone, and boot allowance provided
• Paid personal time off starts at Day 1 – 80 hours accrued in first year

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide a Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months within the past 3 years, or
  • 2 years within the last 5 years, or
  • 5 years within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle records check, a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight, or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
