Starting Salary: $36,171 per year.

Join our team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing our city's streets and green spaces. We are seeking motivated individuals for the position of Crew Member II – Street Maintenance Tree Crew Member.

• Perform general semi-skilled labor tasks with physical strength and stamina.
• Operate a variety of trucks and heavy equipment for street maintenance.
• Work as part of the Tree Crew, Asphalt Crew, and Concrete Crew.
• Utilize chainsaws and chippers for tree maintenance.
• Drive street maintenance vehicles, including dump trucks, for snow removal.
• Sand icy or oily streets and shovel snow.
• Conduct routine ground maintenance tasks.
• Complete work order and daily report paperwork.
• Work overtime during emergencies, weather events, and snow removal operations.

• Ability to perform a full range of duties with general supervision.
• Follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
• Communicate well with co-workers, supervisory staff, and customers.
• Valid Class B Virginia Commercial Driver’s License.
• Pass required criminal background and driving record checks.
