Driver - CDL A

Job Summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Class A CDL Driver to deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer work sites. The driver will operate a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in urban, suburban, and rural settings, including construction zones.

• Deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to customer work sites.
• Operate a Class A truck with flatbed or lowboy trailer safely in a variety of conditions.
• Navigate tight construction zones and maintain safe driving practices.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with CDL and an acceptable driving record.
• Prior training or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred.
• Experience driving flatbeds, RGN/lowboy, dovetail trailers.
• Related experience may include: long haul driver, heavy haul driver, lowboy driver, equipment driver, equipment operator, owner-operator, delivery driver.

• Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites.
• Strong customer service attitude.

• Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more.
• Work indoors and outdoors as required by the job.

$31.13 - $46.69 hourly. Starting rate of pay may vary based on position offered, location, education, training, and experience.
