GFL Environmental is seeking Traveling CDL Waste Lead Drivers to join their team in Virginia. These professionals will travel across the region, operating a variety of commercial trucks and stepping into leadership roles as needed. The ideal candidates are experienced CDL drivers who thrive on variety, enjoy mentoring others, and are comfortable with frequent travel and hands-on operations.

• Competitive hourly wage: $38.00 – $40.00 per hour
• Fully covered lodging and daily per diem when traveling outside home area

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Minimum three (3) years of commercial driving experience
• At least one (1) year of experience in the solid waste/hauling industry
• Experience operating standard transmissions on commercial trucks
• Ability to operate equipment across all lines of business (Front Load, Roll-off, Rear Load, Automated Side Load)
• Flexibility to travel frequently across the region
• Meet criteria for safety-sensitive functions
• Strong knowledge of truck components, preventive maintenance, and safety regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds repetitively
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
