Summary
The Warehouse Selection Clerk is responsible for all clerical tasks to support the accurate processes of goods in the warehouse. The role part of a team that is responsible for maintaining the flow and efficiency of goods to ensure accurate receiving and timely delivery.
What You’ll DoOversees and manages assigned project and/or departments data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements
Conduct data entry and data management for various department projects
Assist with the development of training materials such as manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams, workflows, and project plans
Monitor and verify the Goods-In and Goods-Out processes and action incoming orders from stores such as checking plausibility
Prioritize the flow of goods into the warehouse
Discuss with Goods-Out Clerks regarding the routing plan in order to prioritize selection orders based on transport and sales goals
Assist in designing and optimizing the framework route plan each day based on the number of pallets ordered
Register delivery and outbound data into the warehouse management system
Immediately report technical safety faults, needs for repair of equipment or any other damage that might propose a safety risk within the warehouse
Ensure health and safety and cleanliness standards are adhered to throughout the entire department
Check and count pallets on Goods-Out lanes and prioritize the flow of goods leaving the warehouse
Consult with Supply Chain operators when errors occur
Supply different consumables to the Pickers for the selection process
Prepare reports that accurately reflect processes
Support warehouse inventory processes
Monitor picking progress and assign orders
Monitor all drivers to ensure the correct health and safety procedures are followed
Perform other duties as assigned
Must be 18 years or older
0 - 2 years of experience in related field
Merchandising and handling execution
Ability to interpret instructional documents such as a safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Knowledge of basic math functions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Ability to work independently
