We are seeking an entry-level associate to support our back-office and account administration functions, working primarily in a non-client facing capacity with opportunities for career growth.
All team members must be on site four days per week to facilitate collaboration and business needs.
Responsibilities- Processing and reviewing account openings
- Journal entry and other trade-related administrative tasks
- Processing client account updates and related tasks
- Registered income account updates
- Registered accounts
- Processing (includes RESP, RDSP, etc.)
- Processing and following up on internal and external asset transfers
- RESP withdrawal processing (EAP, PSE, NCW, AIP) and generating RESP breakdown
- Unlocking of locked-in accounts (LIRA, LRSP, LIF, etc.)
- Pending close/freeze account and balances write-offs
- Book value update entry
- Previous experience in the mutual-fund industry and/or customer service (preferred)
- Post-secondary education
- Knowledge of back-office functions
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work efficiently and independently to meet daily deadlines
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, dedicated, and a good team player
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Ability to thrive in a growing and dynamic environment
- Canadian Securities Course, IFIC, PFP, and other industry courses a plus
- Comfort in using and learning new software systems
Base salary range: $34,320 to $58,500, depending on experience, skills, education and budget. Eligible for a bonus program.
