All team members must be on site four days per week to facilitate collaboration and business needs.
Responsibilities Processing and reviewing account openings
Journal entry and other trade-related administrative tasks
Processing client account updates and related tasks
Registered income account updates
Registered accounts
Processing (includes RESP, RDSP, etc.)
Processing and following up on internal and external asset transfers
RESP withdrawal processing (EAP, PSE, NCW, AIP) and generating RESP breakdown
Unlocking of locked-in accounts (LIRA, LRSP, LIF, etc.)
Pending close/freeze account and balances write-offs
Book value update entry
Qualifications Previous experience in the mutual-fund industry and/or customer service (preferred)
Post-secondary education
Knowledge of back-office functions
Ability to prioritize effectively and work efficiently and independently to meet daily deadlines
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, dedicated, and a good team player
Fluency in English (verbal and written)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Ability to thrive in a growing and dynamic environment
Canadian Securities Course, IFIC, PFP, and other industry courses a plus
Comfort in using and learning new software systems
Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $34,320 to $58,500, depending on experience, skills, education and budget. Eligible for a bonus program.
