Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and detail-oriented  Legal Assistant  to support the daily operations of a busy office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional environment and enjoys balancing administrative, reception, and office support responsibilities.

Working closely with the team, you will help ensure smooth day-to-day operations by providing high-quality administrative support while maintaining a welcoming and organized office environment.

Pay Rate:  $20.00 - $21.00/hour

Location:

Saint John, NB

Shift:  8:30am - 4:30pm

Job type:  Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities
Administrative & Office Support:

Provide general administrative support to legal staff as required

Assist with document preparation, filing, and organization

Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information

Support scheduling, correspondence, and basic coordination tasks

Reception & Front Office Duties:

Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner

Answer and direct phone calls and emails

Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area

Office Operations:

Open and prepare the office for daily operations

Ensure office supplies are stocked and organized

Provide additional support to the team as needed

Qualifications and Skills

1-2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role

Legal Assistant experience is required

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High level of discretion and professionalism

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office systems

Ability to work independently and take initiative

A dependable and professional individual with strong attention to detail

A positive, team-oriented attitude

Someone who takes initiative and is eager to support a busy office

Strong customer service mindset with a polished, welcoming presence

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
