Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support the daily operations of a busy office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional environment and enjoys balancing administrative, reception, and office support responsibilities.

Working closely with the team, you will help ensure smooth day-to-day operations by providing high-quality administrative support while maintaining a welcoming and organized office environment.

  • Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00/hour
  • Location: Saint John, NB
  • Shift: 8:30am - 4:30pm
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities Administrative & Office Support:
  • Provide general administrative support to legal staff as required
  • Assist with document preparation, filing, and organization
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Support scheduling, correspondence, and basic coordination tasks
Reception & Front Office Duties:
  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
Office Operations:
  • Open and prepare the office for daily operations
  • Ensure office supplies are stocked and organized
  • Provide additional support to the team as needed
Qualifications and Skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Legal Assistant experience is required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office systems
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • A dependable and professional individual with strong attention to detail
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Someone who takes initiative and is eager to support a busy office
  • Strong customer service mindset with a polished, welcoming presence
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
