Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support the daily operations of a busy office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional environment and enjoys balancing administrative, reception, and office support responsibilities.
Working closely with the team, you will help ensure smooth day-to-day operations by providing high-quality administrative support while maintaining a welcoming and organized office environment.
- Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00/hour
- Location: Saint John, NB
- Shift: 8:30am - 4:30pm
- Job type: Temporary | Full-time

- Provide general administrative support to legal staff as required
- Assist with document preparation, filing, and organization
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Support scheduling, correspondence, and basic coordination tasks
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Open and prepare the office for daily operations
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and organized
- Provide additional support to the team as needed
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role
- Legal Assistant experience is required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office systems
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- A dependable and professional individual with strong attention to detail
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Someone who takes initiative and is eager to support a busy office
- Strong customer service mindset with a polished, welcoming presence
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
