Overview
The Regional Vice President of Corporate Wealth will lead and manage a team of financial and servicing advisors who provide financial planning and investment solutions to employees of corporate clients. The RVP is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of client service, compliance, and productivity while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team.
Responsibilities- Advisor Practice Support:
Oversee a territory of advisor practices, providing ongoing coaching, strategic guidance, and business‑planning support aligned with organizational goals. Improve productivity, client acquisition, and retention strategies and serve as the primary liaison with head office functions. - Sales Growth & Business Development:
Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities to increase assets under management and client penetration. Coach advisors on sales strategies, pipeline management, and client engagements. Monitor key performance metrics, implement action plans, and provide market intelligence to product development and marketing teams. - Operations:
Ensure advisor practices operate efficiently, align with policies and regulatory requirements, and implement best practices. Support technology adoption and process improvements. - Leadership & Relationship Management:
Build strong relationships with advisors and their teams, motivate and influence advisors, collaborating with stakeholders across distribution, marketing, compliance, and operations. Attract new financial advisors through networking and proactive outreach. Conduct business reviews and presentations with corporate clients and provide insights on employee financial wellness programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (MBA or advanced designation is an asset).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a client or advisor‑facing role.
- Proven track record of increasing revenue and driving sales growth, and developing and executing effective sales strategies.
- Strong understanding of financial advisor business models, practice management, regulatory and compliance frameworks, and industry regulations.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning and investment products.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high‑performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to travel as required to meet with corporate clients and regional teams.
