This position is at Wonder Auto & Tire Centre Fredericton Main street which is part of Shift Auto Group. Shift Auto Group consists of Fredericton Mitsubishi, Fredericton Kia, Volvo Cars New Brunswick, Miramichi Kia, 5 ReCar locations, St Croix Auto, Velocity Autobody & 11 Wonder Auto locations.

As Branch Manager, you will oversee all day-to-day operations of the Fredericton, Main street location. Your primary responsibilities will include driving operational efficiency, leading a high-performing team, maintaining customer satisfaction, and meeting profitability goals. This role is ideal for someone with a background in the automotive industry, a natural ability to lead, and a commitment to exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient service delivery.

Manage inventory, tools, and equipment to support service excellence.

Monitor and manage branch budget, expenses, and revenue.

Hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring high performance across all roles.

Foster a collaborative, positive work environment that encourages growth.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching as needed.

Customer Experience

Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer issues promptly.

Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Oversee appointment scheduling to enhance service flow and reduce wait times.

Sales & Business Development

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.

Analyze market trends and local competition to identify growth opportunities.

Represent the branch through local marketing initiatives and community involvement.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Promote and enforce workplace safety standards for both staff and customers.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Branch Manager or in a senior leadership role within the automotive industry.

In-depth knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and analyze performance metrics.

Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

High level of integrity and a customer‑centric approach.
