Startup Programs Executive Director at UNB

Join the University of New Brunswick (UNB) as the Executive Director for Startup Programs & Innovation Partnerships, driving entrepreneurial support and innovation initiatives. Your focus will be on capital formation and building a thriving startup community.

You will lead efforts in developing comprehensive programs that address the needs of startup founders. Manage accelerator initiatives, provide mentorship, and ensure programs' alignment with strategic goals. Collaborate with partners to enhance the venture ecosystem and foster inclusive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of venture studio and accelerator programs

• Guide entrepreneurs through mentoring and coaching

• Assess and improve program designs based on participant feedback

• Manage budgets and secure funding for sustainability

• Organize outreach campaigns to attract investors and startups

Requirements:

• Master's degree related to business or entrepreneurship

• 4+ years in venture support and program management

• Proven fundraising experience, raising $80 million CAD

• Established relationships with venture capital networks

• Public speaking and mentoring experience required
