The Crabtree Community Digital Ambassador program is designed to connect UNB students with their local communities, empowering them to improve and deliver digital literacy and digital skills training to businesses, stakeholders, and citizens to drive economic growth and development.

Standard
Work Hours:
Mon - Fri | 8:15 am - 4:30 pm | 36.25 hours per week
Salary Range: $46,251 - $57,812 per annum
Your FocusReporting to the Strategic Program Director, the Program Coordinator will coordinate the implementation of this exciting initiative.
- Coordinate the Crabtree Digital Student Ambassador Program across NB rural communities.
- Develop recruitment marketing materials.
- Actively recruit students and provide information sessions.
- Prepare onboarding training modules for Ambassadors.
- Prepare workplan templates with outreach approach.
- Support digital ambassadors with logistics, delivering training sessions to businesses, community centers, and organizations.
- Coordinate and assist students with organizing workshops and training sessions on topics such as basic computer skills, cybersecurity, digital transformation for SMEs, and online learning tools.
- Track program outcomes, gather feedback, and prepare reports on program impact.
- Coordinate outreach to Communities to promote the program.
- Assess the capacity and needs for each Community.
- Connect students with Community Partners (RSC, Economic Development agencies, Chambers).
- A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Management, Marketing, Innovation).
- 1-2 years prior experience in a similar position involving project coordination of program delivery, ideally within an innovation, or industry-focused environment.
- Exceptional organization and project management skills—ability to prioritize tasks while completing documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills—attention to detail ensuring accuracy in reports, compliance, and logistics.
- Experience with community engagement and project coordination.
- Technical skills:
Familiarity with office software and basic project management tools. - Must have ability to travel. Occasional travel required.
