Role Overview

Westernacher Consulting is a global SAP consulting leader. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will identify, engage and qualify prospective clients for Westernacher's GROW with SAP portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation &

    Qualification:

    Generate and manage a pipeline of mid‑market prospects interested in cloud ERP. Use outbound campaigns, inbound inquiries, and industry events to identify companies whose growth ambitions align with GROW with SAP's rapid‑deployment. Qualify leads by understanding their business needs, budget, and timeline.
  • Prospect

    Education:

    Highlight and demonstrate how GROW with SAP's pre‑packaged S/4

    HANA Cloud ERP, adoption services, and community support provide a complete solution offering predictable deployment timelines (often 4‑6 weeks) and pre‑configured best‑practice. Demonstrate the benefits of rapid implementation, lower total cost of ownership and the ability to scale without limits.
  • Appointment Setting:
    Schedule discovery meetings between qualified leads and Westernacher's sales managers/consultants. Provide detailed prospect profiles to ensure productive conversations.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with marketing to craft messages that resonate with mid‑market executives, and with SAP partner teams to leverage joint campaigns and events. Support the sales team by preparing sales decks, demos and proposals tailored to GROW with SAP's features and licensing.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Stay current on SAP's product roadmap (especially distinctions between GROW and RISE with SAP) and understand competitor offerings. Provide feedback to Westernacher's practice leads to refining market strategies.
  • CRM Management:
    Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, lead status and next steps in the CRM system, ensuring reliable forecasting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, information systems, or a related field.
  • 1‑3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales, ideally in B2B technology or SaaS.
  • Foundational understanding of ERP concepts and cloud‑based solutions; familiarity with SAP S/4

    HANA Cloud and mid‑market digital‑transformation trends is a strong plus.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to connect with and present to C‑Level executive boards.
  • Proactive, self‑directed, and results‑oriented with strong organisational skills.
  • Skills in Business Development, Sales, SAP.
