Job Brief
Work closely with customers and operations teams to deliver blasting solutions, support projects, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships.

What You’ll Do- Support customers by providing technical expertise and value‑added blasting solutions.
- Conduct customer site visits and provide technical support to ensure the safe and effective application of blasting products and services.
- Assess blasting practices and provide recommendations to optimize blast performance, safety, and productivity.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer needs and operational challenges.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, pricing proposals, and commercial agreements.
- Monitor and track blast performance metrics to support continuous improvement.
- Support implementation of new technologies, products, and operational initiatives.
- Assist with inventory management and product coordination.
- Promote Dyno Nobel's safety culture and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
- Promote and support the use of proactive safety tools and initiatives to strengthen personal and operational safety.
- Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and industry events.
- 3–5 years of experience in the explosives, quarry and construction, mining, or related industries is preferred.
- Post‑secondary education in engineering, geology, mining, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
- Strong relationship building and communication skills with a customer‑first mindset.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate blasting solutions.
- Self‑motivated with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.
