Position: Geologist for Mineral Exploration Projects
Become a Geologist with Axis Geoscience Ltd., specializing in mineral exploration across Canada. This role focuses on field-based exploration services, including geological mapping and drill support in challenging locations.
As a key member of the exploration team, you will be responsible for supporting hard-rock projects through geological mapping, sampling, and technical reporting. You will engage in sample collection, data validation, and coordination with contractors to ensure successful drill campaigns. Prioritizing safety and compliance, you will contribute to a wide array of exploration targets while adapting to the unique demands of remote fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geological mapping and sampling for exploration

• Plan and support drill operations in rugged environments

• Maintain accurate geological records and documentation

• Validate collected data and ensure QA/QC procedures

• Prepare maps and reports for ongoing exploration projects
Requirements:

• Expertise in geological mapping and field sampling

• Experience in core logging and managing drill data

• Solid understanding of exploration for gold and copper

• Proficient in GIS tools like ArcGIS or Micromine

• Flexibility to work on rotating field schedules
