Firefly Solar is looking for a Master Electrician with strong solar experience to support our rapidly growing project pipeline across Canada. This role is critical to our operations and will oversee electrical compliance, quality, and permit approvals in AB, NS, ON and NB
. We are open to both full‑time candidates and contractors who can support on a project basis.

• Review and sign electrical permits in Alberta, Nova Scotia, Ontario and New Brunswick
• Provide electrical oversight for residential and commercial solar projects
• Ensure compliance with provincial electrical codes and AHJ requirements
• Support design reviews, technical troubleshooting and quality assurance
• Lead safe work practices and mentor junior electricians or solar technicians
• Collaborate with project managers and installation teams to execute high‑quality installs

• Master Electrician certification with the ability to sign permits in AB, NS, ON and NB
• Strong background in solar installations (residential, commercial or utility)
• Understanding of PV systems, inverters, disconnects and commissioning
• Solid knowledge of applicable Canadian Electrical Code requirements
• Clear communication, problem‑solving ability and leadership presence
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required
