Drilling Equipment Operator at Gahcho Kué

Be a crucial part of De Beers Group as a Drilling Equipment Operator at the Gahcho Kué Mine Site. With a contract through February 2027, you will work a rotational schedule for optimal work-life balance.

This role requires an experienced operator to manage drilling tasks while adhering to safety and operational standards. Your expertise in handling various drills and inspecting equipment will ensure effective mining operations in a challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate drill equipment according to strict standards

• Read and execute drill pattern diagrams

• Ensure drill hole measurements are accurate

• Bore specified blast holes with precision

• Conduct safety checks prior to drilling operations

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of drill operation and maintenance experience

• Familiar with Epiroc Pit Viper and additional drill models

• Ability to work on rotating day and night shifts

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Legally able to work in Canada
