Ocean Steel is seeking a 3rd year or higher Industrial Mechanic/Millwright apprentice to join its New Brunswick team.

You'll work with handtools, conveyors, CNC machines, and hydraulic systems while assisting in troubleshooting and maintaining building infrastructure. This role supports various projects and emphasizes safe work practices and overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance on handtools and CNC equipment

• Repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems effectively

• Conduct inspections on equipment and rigging

• Assist with overhead crane troubleshooting

• Maintain logs and coordinate outside contractors

Requirements:

• Must be 3rd year or higher Industrial Mechanic/Millwright

• Experience with PLC and electrical systems is beneficial

• Strong skills in troubleshooting and machine schematics

• Ability to work at heights safely

• Willingness to handle overtime tasks
