This position at Ocean Steel requires a skilled Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic/Millwright with 3-5 years of experience. You'll be responsible for maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment while performing vital inspections and repairs. Your knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting can make a significant impact in this role that also fosters safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair handtools, conveyors, and CNC equipment

• Inspect and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems

• Assist in the repair and maintenance of overhead cranes

• Keep accurate maintenance logs and parts inventory

• Collaborate with outside maintenance personnel when needed

Requirements:

• Must have Red Seal Industrial Mechanic/Millwright certification

• 3-5 years of relevant mechanical experience required

• Strong skills in troubleshooting and equipment schematics

• Electrical experience with PLC systems is advantageous

• Willingness to manage tasks at heights and overtime demands
