Position: Telecon Aerial Lineman in New Brunswick
Become an Aerial Lineman with Telecon in Fredericton or Saint John, New Brunswick. Leverage your lineman skills installing telecommunication cables while traveling across the Maritime Provinces.

Telecon is seeking an Aerial Lineman who will work under a Foreman to install telecommunication cables and apparatuses. This role requires expertise in line vehicles and compliance with health and safety policies. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in a similar position, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate line vehicles and trucks for installations

• Climb poles and ladders for cable installation

• String cables between structures, ensuring proper tension

• Clean and maintain tools and equipment

• Accurately report project progress and address delays

Requirements:

• High school diploma or relevant experience

• Valid Class 5 or Class 3 driver’s license with air brake

• 1-3 years of lineman experience

• Pass health and safety training for heights

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
