Fibre Optics Splicer Technician Remote

Become a Fibre Optics Splicer Technician in a hands-on role focused on installation and maintenance. Contribute your skills in testing and splicing wires at various locations including urban and rural settings.

The position requires 3 to 5 years of experience in fibre optics, copper, and telephone equipment. You will work outdoors, often at heights and in confined spaces while climbing on structures. This physically demanding role demands attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment

• Test equipment to identify transmission faults

• Install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment

• Complete and maintain detailed test and service reports

• Splice, join, and connect fibre optic wires

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of related experience in fibre optics

• Working at heights training and CPR certification

• Reliable and organized approach to work tasks

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

• Ability to handle physical demands of the job
