Aerial and Underground Splicer Technician

Become a key part of network installations as a Splicer Technician responsible for aerial and underground telephone equipment. This on-site role emphasizes climbing, connecting, and testing equipment in various locations.

You will work directly with fibre optics and copper installations, contributing to the maintenance and repair of communication networks. This role requires at least three years of relevant experience and a detail-oriented approach to complete tasks efficiently under various work conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain telephone equipment and trunking systems

• Test equipment to troubleshoot transmission faults

• Climb to work on poles and structured supports

• Splice and connect wires for effective communication

• Complete and maintain service and test reports

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Certifications in CPR and First Aid

• Training for working at heights

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

• Physical capability for demanding tasks
