This is a full-time, on-site role for a Painter based in Fredericton, NB. We are seeking a qualified painter with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience, with strong work ethics, good teamwork skills and leadership experience.

The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning and sanding surfaces, repairing cracks and holes, applying paint, stain, and finishes to both interior and exterior spaces, and ensuring high-quality work that meets client expectations. Other tasks include maintaining painting tools, ensuring cleanliness of work spaces, and adhering to safety and efficiency standards throughout the project lifecycle.

• Skills in Paint application brush, role and Spray Painting techniques
• Experience in Painting and Decorating, including attention to detail
• Knowledge of various Coatings and surface finishes
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team or individually
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and protocols
• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting projects
• Physical stamina and the ability to work on ladders and scaffolding as needed

The ideal candidate will have access to a reliable vehicle as well as:

• WHMIS
• Scissor lift experience
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Fall protection training
