Field Operations Technician

Join Xplore Inc. as a full-time Field Operations Technician in Fredericton, NB. This role focuses on hands-on network integration, maintenance, and repair, enhancing broadband for rural communities.

As a key support contact to the Field Operations Manager, you'll engage in integrating and repairing the Xplore network. Your responsibilities include maintaining both fibre optic and fixed wireless infrastructures. Ideal candidates are self-starters with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills while being adaptable to a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily maintenance of Xplore's broadband network

• Collaborate on various construction and repair projects

• Troubleshoot and repair network issues effectively

• Perform telecom construction tasks including cable handling

• Ensure compliance with safety and construction standards

Requirements:

• 1-year relevant experience or degree/diploma

• Valid Driver’s License is mandatory

• Experience with Fibre and fixed wireless networks

• Proficiency in IP networking fundamentals

• Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions
